SUNDAYS - 9:30 AM

With God’s great mercy, we have been given new birth—a spiritual rebirth that is not temporary or fragile. This new birth brings us into a living hope, rooted not in optimistic thinking but reality of Jesus’ resurrection.

Are you wondering about what a believer is to do in today's world? Don't feel like you're alone. Come join us as we explore the book of James, as he addresses this same dilemma for 1st Century Christians. Each session will include a brief video by Francis Chan with discussion to follow.

  • Adult Women - This class meets in Room 407 in our Education Building. Please contact the Women’s Ministry for information on the current class topic.

  • Young Adults (ages 18-30) - “Identity & Calling,” led by Deacon Ron Barbee in Room 603 in our Youth Center. This discussion-focused class will help participants discover their spiritual gifts and build healthy spiritual habits.

24-Hours of Prayer

to Jan 18

24-Hours of Prayer

  • In Your Home or Your Location of Choice (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Since the very beginning when Canyon church was first being planted (2003), prayer has always been an essential part of who we are. We’ve held several prayer vigils over the years, especially during crucial moments in the life of our church family.

In 2012 before we moved into our buildings, we spent 24-hours in prayer over the work that would take place at this location.  That started an annual tradition and here we are in 2026, getting ready to dedicate another 24-hours to prayer. With this focused event, we greet the new year by focusing on God, and bringing our praises and our concerns to Him in prayer.

This year will be a little different! We will be asking for participants to vow to pray for one hour (minimum) on their own during the 24-hour period between Saturday, Jan. 17 at noon until noon on Sunday, Jan. 18 at the location of their choosing. (You will not be coming to the church building like we’ve done in past years.)

  • To commit to praying, please sign-up online or on the sign-up sheets available in our worship center. You will receive a prayer list, resources, or other instructions as we get closer to the event date.

  • If you have any questions, please contact our Youth & Family Minister, Carter Milam.
