At Canyon, we delight in the study of God’s word. This fall, we invite you to engage in loving God deeper and connecting with others by trying out one of our new classes for adults, teens, and all ages of children.
Please note: Our Winter classes will be shorter than our usual offerings and will only last 9 weeks.
SUNDAY MORNINGS
Adults - Cultural Apologetics class meets in the auditorium, led by Shawn White. We will spend time investigating how Truth, Goodness, and Beauty reorients us to God. Each of these have their beginning and end in God and the scattered fragments we find of them today, if we are paying attention, can point us back to Him.
Adults - Men Preparing Themselves to Shepherd God's Church, a Shepherding Training class meets in 406, led by Jay Carter and Tom Riley. Leaders are compelled to know so many things and do so much so well. Yet nothing we can do to develop leaders is more important than mentoring. This course is meant to be a first step in preparing you for a life of shepherding God's flock.
Adult Women - Time To Connect class, led by various women, meets in Room 407. Learn everything that your Bible app can do! This class will focus on all the ins and outs of using your phone and connecting yourself with God’s Word.
Young Adults (ages 18-30) - Journey through the Book of James class meets in room 602, led by Ron Barbee.
Youth (6th-12th Grade) - Practicing the Way: Part 2, a study using the book by John Mark Comer, led by our Youth & Family Minister, Carter Milam meets in our Youth Center.
Children (Newborn to 5th Grade) - Classes are offered in the Children’s area of our Education Building. Please contact our Children’s Ministry Director, Emma Milam, with any questions or visit our Children’s page for more information about our curriculum.
Our classes will help you learn to love God and his Word more and give you a chance to connect with other people. Please contact our church office with any questions about current and upcoming class offerings.
