When differences pull us apart, we need a reminder that families are better together.
Our cultural moment is challenging for families.
Parents worry about saying the wrong thing.
Students wonder if anyone cares about their questions.
Grandparents want to help, but don’t know where to start.
On April 17-18, Summit Ministries will be bringing a two-day family worldview conference to Palmcroft Church that is designed for families with students ages 12-22, their parents, and grandparents.
Through engaging main sessions and guided conversations, you will gain tools to navigate current cultural issues with confidence, conviction, and compassion.
One of the unique features of this conference is Family Chats. Following most lectures, your family will have time to process, ask questions, and practice healthy communication skills. The speakers will guide these important conversations, providing questions to discuss and suggestions to help find common ground.
Canyon’s Youth and Family Minister, Carter Milam, and Canyon’s apologetics teacher, Shawn White, will be attending and are encouraging all of our families and grandparents to attend.
Tickets are $99 for Families or $39 for Individuals. Childcare will be provided for children 11 and under. Saturday’s BBQ lunch is included in the cost. Scholarships are available - just reach out to Carter or Shawn.
